Pavel Puhov, known as the 183Art , is a Russian artist who adapts his talent to the urban environment and seeks to interact with the city.

I like his ‘About me’ quote from his website… “First think, then I see, and then show what I see”

“Enlighted Souls is a lightpainting project I started in May 2011 in Christchurch, New Zealand. I first thought of it as an artistic and morale contribution to the 6.3 quake’s aftermath. I used stencils to paint enlightened characters to remember human losses and to show the spirit of a wouned city. It turned out to be an interesting way to share ideas and feelings about society and life. After all, this is what street art is made for.”

These just blow my mind, Wittner Fabrice admits himself that these are still a ‘work in progress’ after he received much criticism about them looking too photoshoped. If these are the work in progress, I cannot wait to see how they develop.

The Japanese artist Riusuke Fukahori painted three-dimensional gold fish using a complex technique. The small animals are painted on resin layer by layer. With a lot of patience the process was to apply resin, let it dry, apply a layer of paint, let the paint dry, apply resin, let it dry, and so on.

Mark Powell draws people of the older generation of used envelopes. He uses nothing but paper and pens. Powell captures , in an almost nostalgic way, the expressive faces, lines and wrinkles on the faces of his subjects.

Cecilia Paredes merges  herself with the wall. The Peruvian artist painted her body so that it becomes one with the pattern of the wallpaper in the background. Sometimes, at first glance, it can be difficult to spot her, it is her work with human identity, somewhere between reality and illusion.

This unbelievable abandoned houses, that seem to be taken from a Tim Burton’s movie, are made of LEGO bricks! Mike Doyle‘s 44 years old graphic designer, this project took him about 600 hours and over 130,000 Lego bricks. The houses are about 5,5 feet tall and 6 wide. Here part of the making of.

“… basically I just like getting my hands dirty, I love the manual process, I like ripping down old posters to scan the textures, cutting up typography to glue it up in a manner that probably doesn’t please the usual kern obsessed designer, I like exploring old, abandoned places to spend some time alone with a wall, I enjoy photographing closed doors filled with tags and graffiti while standbyers in suits and ties look at me in disgust I like being left-handed I can’t stay away too long from the drawing board to sketch up detailed drawings of whatever goes on in my dreams, I have a slight obsession for human anatomy and I love irony, hence the name Rotten Leftovers!”

A photographic record of every love lock on the Millennium Bridge in London on the 22nd of July 2011.Love locks, also known as love padlocks, are in Europe at least a recent tradition emerging in the early 2000’s where two lovers affix a padlock to a public structure to symbolise their everlasting love. In the case of locks being attached to a bridge the key is then thrown into the waters below.

The most difficult thing to communicate: yourself. This is an unconventional way to show my works, mixing prestige games and special effects.

Peter Fuss had the idea to place these posters in a station in Gdansk in Poland. With a message of peace, these posters are a reminder not to think with stereotypes, and that we must stand back from what we hear.
